Dylan Poole is a graduate of the Medical Assisting Specialized Associate Degree Program at Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology. He chose PIHT because of the career training and the small classroom size which allows instructors time to give students extra help, if needed.
“My favorite part of attending PIHT was the Career Preparation Course at the end of enrollment. It’s a class that is centered around yourself and gives you time to focus on landing a career,” explained Dylan.
Now an EKG Tech at a local hospital, Dylan plans to go back to school to obtain his RN through the UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing.
Dylan’s advice to current or new students: “It may be frustrating sometimes, but I promise it only gets better once you get started. Finish the goal you set for yourself and take pride in accomplishing this big step in your life!”
Dylan would like to thank all of PIHT’s staff. He said, “They are a phenomenal group and they are very helpful with anything you need.”
Additionally, Dylan would like to send a special thank you to his fiancé, Jessica McCormick. He explained, “She has always been by y side and very supportive.”
Lastly, he would like to thank his family.
