Emily Collins always knew she wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field.
“I was never interested in being a doctor, or even a nurse. I wanted something in the field, but that was not too overwhelming. So, I looked at all of my options and decided that Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology’s Medical Assisting Program was the best option for me.
Emily is very much enjoying her program at PIHT and says her favorite part is the scheduling. “Having two or three classes every six weeks makes it easier to focus on each subject,” she explained.
Emily’s biggest supporters are her parents. “I work hard just to hear them say they are proud of me,” she explained. “Having my parents support makes me want to try even harder to show them how well I can do things.”
“I would like to thank Jr. Shelton for introducing me to PIHT. If it weren’t for him, I probably wouldn’t have looked into PIHT but after asking him many questions, he helped me decide this school was right for me. I have realized that it certainly is!”
